  3. They finally opened. Stopped in for a late lunch on Sunday with the wife and the place was packed. I figured on their first day with such a big crowd I could expect a long wait for my food but I was pleasantly surprised when it wasn't delayed at all.
I figured a reliable quality test would be a burger as that's one item that appears on most menus. Some places serve sufficient burgers while others restaurants/bars are defined by them. The bacon bleu cheese burger I had at Clinton Park gives "burger joints" a run for their money. WOW. The burger was juicy but not greasy, the bun soft and lightly toasted, the bleu cheese perfectly sharp and the bacon appropriately crispy. Oh yeah - the fries. I never really paid much attention to fries, but there was something different...almost special about these fries. I can't quite place it. They were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and really flavorful. A pleasant surprise for sure.
I can't wait to try something else on the menu, but I'm not sure I want to stray far from near burger perfection.

  5. Went there today for lunch. I was pretty safe with a cheeseburger deluxe. It was delicious. My friend had the chicken panini with pesto sauce and really enjoyed it. This place is in a great location (across the street from Pratt Institute), has great decor, and a friendly staff. It's well worth visiting.
