Brooklyn Label in Greenpoint, Brooklyn

People leave their own neighborhoods to taste the deliciousness of Greenpoint’s Brooklyn Label.    When you hear about Brooklyn Label you hear how amazing and creative the food is, but not enough people talk about their coffee and hot chocolate menu.  This drink menu shows how serious they are about freshness, quality, and excellence in all that they serve.
Brooklyn Label’s coffee is roasted in Brooklyn by Stumptown Coffee Roasters, “one of the finest, most finicky coffee roasters anywhere", so, “the beans that brewed the cup that arrives on your table were in a roaster no more than four days ago.”  Brooklyn Label grinds the espresso beans specifically for your order, so that all of the cappuccinos, lattes and shots are as fresh as possible.
What I like about the drink menu is that they have special offerings like el cubano, an espresso served over brown sugar or the mandarin mocha, a mocha with Mandarin flavor, served with whipped cream and fresh orange zest.  They have only one option I have yet to try, the franklin soda, an Italian style espresso soda served with simple syrup.  Their inventiveness for mixing flavors with coffee and chocolate is simply matchless and if you head here you will be inspired to take a risk and try something out of the ordinary.

We would suggest coming here during the week because they get slammed on weekend mornings with the brunch crowd and staff can lose sight of their table.  Be ready for rock music and joining the crowds of those not eager to go to work.

Brooklyn Label is located at 180 Franklin St between Green St & Huron St.
