Coffee Bites in Prospect Heights re-opens after Washington Avenue Fire

There was a catastrophic fire that broke out on Washington Avenue in Prospect Heights over a week ago.  It displaced families and damaged a total of five businesses including Coffee Bites, a two-story, loft-style coffee shop on Washington Avenue between Lincoln Place & St. Johns Place.  News is that owner Soraya Sultan-Meer will be re-opening tomorrow.  If you find yourself near the Brooklyn Museum or Brooklyn Botanic Garden, please come and help support Coffee Bites.
If you don't already know, Prospect Heights is one of the best neighborhoods in Brooklyn to buy gourmet coffee. Every one of its coffee shops sells top quality beans and is helping Brooklyn get back to its Dutch roots.   The smell of homemade muffins and sight of green tea macaroons make Coffee Bites the perfect place to plug-in or meet up with a friend. Swing by and grab an iced one and help this coffee shop make it through a tough time.
We recommend the mozzarella, tomato, & basil panini and the green tea macaroons.   If you bring a little one, check out the books in the shelves under the sun and the hidden stash of tiny toys under the counter.
Coffee Bites is located at 824 Washington Avenue. (347) 787-2991

Coffeebeaners @ Artists & Fleas in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Darn it I got a job and I love it! I don't have time for my blog anymore.  Here are some photos of us at Williamsburg's Artists & Fleas where you will find artisans plus coffee, cupcakes, mexican treats, & tacos.
I keep telling Diego that when tourists find out about this place and the Brooklyn Flea in Williamsburg we are not going to be able to come back because we won't be able to fit on the street. Too bad I will probably be one of the ones responsible for spreading the       word.
